Celebrating the holiday season is looking a little different in 2020 but don’t worry, organizations in the Twin Cities and all over Minnesota are hosting unique and fun activities and events. From light shows to downhill skiing and meeting Santa, you and your family won’t be bored this winter! Discover new, safe and exciting events starting now and going through late January and February.

      • There are multiple beautiful and interactive Christmas light displays throughout Minnesota, from free to paid events! These lengthy, light displays are like nothing you have ever seen before.

    • A Minnesota favorite and while not technically a holiday activity, this is the perfect outdoor activity to get moving this winter season! Many resorts and ski destinations are open now, some require pre-bought tickets and day reservations so plan ahead. Some of our favorites include Spirit Mountain, Afton Alps, Wild Mountain and Welch Village Ski and Snowboard area but here is an extensive list of top places to get your shred on. 

The Device Pitstop of Maple Grove knows this year can be difficult to keep the winter cheer with the ongoing pandemic but this is the time to get creative! Bake your favorite cookies, rent a holiday classic, listen to a Christmas playlist on Spotify and Apple Music. We are Minnesota strong and we will get through this together!
